THE MAZE RUNNER by 20th Century Fox
Despite from Harry Potter series of movie, I’ve come out to find that “the maze runner” is also my favourite movie as well. The main reason is probably due to my liking for actions, adventure and excitement of this movie.
The maze runner is about a guy named Thomas comes to wake up in an elevator and found out that he remember nothing but his own name. Soon, he realized that he was sent to an enclosed environment (the environment is actually designed by scientists to test the ability of human being and prepare them for future challenges) with 60 other mans or boys. There is no girl in this world! Relying only on agriculture activity, they form a self- sustaining small community there.
However, the Glade (the move of the maze) happen once in 3 years, which means they need to take this opportunity to get out from this enclosed maze. One day, a girl was sent through elevator with 1 piece of strange note. Thomas came to realize that the note was actually “the answer” that need to be solved and escape from the maze. Soon, their maze solving started and the great, fast- paced action scene begin!
This is a tall huge wall where no one really knows what it really is and how to escape from it. The same sense came to me when I first watched this movie, all I thought is that the men are sent to an unknown place with strange moveable walls surrounding them. Because it is so tall, it is almost impossible for anyone to climb to the top of it and view what it really is. Until Thomas discover a small maze model made by people before, then he began to solve the maze and later discover that the maze is actually made by scientists.
How can human beings (at that time) able to made such a huge world (maze) with no one knows what it really is and how to escape from it? What is the purpose of make this huge space? How does the maze really works? How long does it take to make the world (maze)? When is the construction of the walls take place when no one really knows about its existent?
However, the movie manage to leave an important life essence soup for me. When the 60 man are going to live their life in the maze with no idea to go out from the maze, Thomas tried to see it as an opportunity, with high curiousity in heart, and looked at the bigger picture of the things with the hope that he will succeed go out from the maze, so he tried every single method until a girl with a strange note was sent to the maze. Soon I’ve come realize that we all own a uniquely beautiful life, and when we stuck in life, instead of focusing on the details that happen to us, we can have a large overall view towards the future or goal, and keep being optimistic and thoughtful and have faith in ourselves!

Apart from that, there are also a few architectural elements inside the movie like the maze ( the gigantic moveable wall), it looks like a moveable wall from the side, but when view from the top it is actually a huge maze with some natural plants attached to it. The spacial experience also shown by the elevator where Thomas was kept and sent to the maze in the beginning of the movie.
